Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Our Modern Slavery policy outlines RiskManage.io’s zero-tolerance approach to trafficking, ensuring ethical supply chain integrity in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

At RiskManage.io, we believe that operating with integrity is non-negotiable. This statement, published in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, reflects our unwavering commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking within our own operations and across our global supply chain. We recognise that modern slavery is a hidden crime, and we take full responsibility for ensuring that our business practices—and those of our partners—remain ethical, transparent, and compliant with the highest international standards.
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
1. Introduction and Statutory Statement
RiskManage.io is committed to operating with integrity and responsibility. This policy outlines our approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, demonstrating our dedication to ethical business practices and compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is a formal response to Section 54(1), Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relates to actions and activities for the financial year ending 31 March 2023. Viewdeck Engineering Ltd, trading as RiskManage.io (‘the Company’, 'we', 'us', or 'our'), maintains a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking violations in its own operations, its supply chain, and its products. We require our entire supply chain to comply with our core values.
2. Organisational Structure and Supply Chain
- Business Operations: Viewdeck Engineering Ltd is based in the United Kingdom, serving clients and delivering projects globally.
- Sector: We operate within the Transformation Consulting, Digital Change, and Cloud Engineering sectors.
- Supply Chain Profile: We partner with various UK and international suppliers providing:
- Goods: Equipment for organisational premises.
- Services: Outsourced business processes, software development, and cloud platforms.
3. Internal Policy Framework
We operate a robust suite of internal policies to ensure business is conducted ethically and transparently:
- Recruitment and Selection Policy: We conduct mandatory checks on all prospective employees to verify eligibility to work in the UK. Certain roles require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, particularly where employees may interact with vulnerable populations.
- Supplier Code of Conduct: We require suppliers to operate in full compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations of the countries in which they operate and seek confirmation of similar commitments across their own supply chains.
- Whistle-blowing Policy: We provide a secure framework for employees to raise concerns regarding the treatment of staff or business practices within our operations or supply chains without fear of reprisal.
- Staff Code of Conduct: This reflects our core values and zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, ensuring the fair treatment of all personnel.
- Procurement Policy: This policy defines the controls and checks undertaken to verify that potential suppliers are committed to ensuring slavery and human trafficking are not occurring within their own chains.
4. Due Diligence and Audit Processes
To monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery, the Company has adopted the following due diligence procedures:
- Internal Supplier Audits: Systematic reviews of supplier adherence to our ethical standards.
- Risk Identification: Active procedures to identify and action potential risks within our business and supply chains.
- Risk Monitoring: Continuous oversight of potential vulnerabilities.
- Whistleblower Protection: Ensuring a safe environment for reporting concerns.
5. Risk and Compliance Evaluation
The Company evaluates the extent of its exposure to modern slavery risks through:
- Supplier Onboarding: Evaluating the slavery and human trafficking risks of every new supplier.
- Supply Chain Mapping: Regularly reviewing all aspects of the supply chain based on comprehensive mapping.
Risk Environment Assessment: We do not currently consider our business to operate in a high-risk environment due to our highly assured technical and security focus and the public, declarative nature of our business environment. However, where evidence of non-compliance is identified, we require suppliers to remedy the issue immediately.
6. Digitisation, Automation, and AI Integration
In alignment with our 2026 digital strategy, we enhance this policy through technological measures:
- Automated Vetting: Utilising digital platforms to automate initial supplier risk assessments and compliance document tracking.
- AI-Enhanced Monitoring: Implementing AI tools to scan global databases and adverse media for red flags related to labour violations within our international supply chain.
- Digitised Reporting: Moving from manual audits to real-time digital dashboards that track supplier compliance and "Due Care" status.
7. Effectiveness and Governance
While the Company acknowledges that absolute certainty regarding the elimination of modern slavery is difficult to quantify, we are committed to continuous improvement. We are actively considering best practices for monitoring the effectiveness of our actions in subsequent financial years.
*Approved by the Board of Directors. January 2026.
